Fondy Boys Track
The Fond du Lac boys track team won the Sectional at UW-Oshkosh on Thursday. Earning trips to state for Fondy include; Peter Andrew and Mike Thies in the shot, John-Myles Gaskell in the 100m, 4x200m relay team of McCrory, Hoaglin, Hafermann, and Gunderson, 400m Nathan Gunderson, 300m hurdles Mackenzie Nick, 4x800m Relay of Cunningham, Gunderson, Pieper, and Leisses, and Chris Leisses in 3200m.
St. Marys Springs Boys Track
The Ledger boys rolled through their Sectional. Darin Ward qualified for state in the 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, long jump and triple jump. Ryan Grandlic is going to state in the 200, 400 and with the 4×400 relay team. Sam Schrauth was 2nd in the shot and Andy Skiff took 4th in the 800m.
Ledgers Girls Track Wins
The St. Mary’s Springs girls track team also won their Sectional. Bailey Hoch won the pole-vault, Megan McGovern was 2nd in the 110m hurdles. Melanie Schneider is going to state in the 200 and triple jump. Liz Bohn also qualified in the 400m and triple jump. The 4×800 and the 4×100 also qualified for state
Fondy Girls Track
The Fond du Lac girls track team finished 9th at the Sectional in Oshkosh on Thursday. Jenna Rosenthal was 3rd in the discus and Kylin Knapp was 4th in the 200.
Fondy Tennis
The Fond du Lac boys tennis team will send a singles and doubles team to the state tournament. Kyle Dunn went 2-1 at the Oshkosh Sectional to qualify for state while the doubles team of Stuart Nett and Matt Riley.
Rugby Playoffs
The Fond du Lac Stoutmen high school club rugby team lost to Muskego in their playoff match Thursday night by a score of 59-19 at Lakeside Park in FDL which means they will be competing in the plate bracket (5th-8th place) at the state tourney in Pulaski on June 1.

WLA 3 Mayville 1 – Hall two goals for Vikings
Vikings Grab Share of Baseball Crown
WLA beat Omro 1-0 Thursday afternoon at Viking Field to clinch a share of the Flyway Conference Chanpionship. Winning pitcher Kevin Seibel and Mauston Otterstatter combined to throw the 6 hit shutout. Seibel and Ryan Boelk each went 2 for 3 and Austin Wright drove in the games only run with a 5th inning single to lead the Vikings offensively. The Vikings and Ketle Moraine Lutheran finished at 11-3 atop the confernece standings
