Aaron Rodgers practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday
as the Packers get ready for the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.  Rodgers has not been cleared to play yet, but
seems to be getting closer.  If he can’t
go, Matt Flynn will get the start. Sunday’s kickoff is set for 12noon.  With pregame coverage set for 10am on KFIZ.

 

Brandon Jennings returned to Milwaukee last night and his Detroit Pistons
beat the Bucks 105-98.  Jennings scored 17 on 4 of 16 shooting.  Ersan Ilyasova paced the Bucks with 22. 

 

Bo Ryan won his 300^th game in Madison
last night with a 48-38 win at Virginia
in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge.  Frank
Kaminsky led the way with 9 points and 12 rebounds.  Wisconsin
is now 9-0 on the season.  #1 Michigan State
lost to unranked North Carolina 79-65 in East
Lansing. Wisconsin
native JP Tokoto had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Tar Heels.  The Spartans first home loss to an unranked
non-conference foe since 2002.  The
challenge was deadlocked 6-6 this year.

 

High school boys basketball tonight on KFIZ as St. Mary’s
Springs hosts Laconia
in a key early season Flyway matchup. 
Coverage begins at 7:05pm with the Backyard Grill Pregame Show.  The tip is set for 7:30pm.  KFIZ”s Wade Bates and Pat Lloyd have the
call.  The game is presented by BCI Burke
