Brewers Fall Again
Wily Peralta gave up 6 runs in just 1 and 2/3 innings of work as the Dodgers stopped the Brewers 9-2 on Wednesday afternoon. Ryan Braun homered in the loss. Milwaukee has lost 10 of their last 13 games. The Crew takes today off and then opens up a three game weekend series with Pittsburgh at Miller Park on Friday night. You’ll hear all the games on KFIZ.

Brewers starter Kyle Lohse will miss his scheduled start on Saturday because of elbow soreness. Mike Fiers will take his spot in the rotation.

LeBron James’ layup as time expired in overtime gave Miami a 103-102 win over Indiana in Game 1 of the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals. James finished with a a triple double, 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Game 2 of the series is Friday night in Miami.

Urlacher Retires
Former Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher announced his retirement on Wednesday. Urlacher spent 13 seasons with the Bears before being released earlier this offseason.
Sanders Gets Team USA Tryout
Bucks center Larry Sanders has been invited to play with the United States Select Team this summer in Las Vegas. 25 players are invited to the workouts. The FIBA World Cup is in Spain in 2014 and the Olympics are in Brazil in 2016.

High School Soccer on KFIZ
St. Mary’s Springs hosts Freedom in girls soccer tonight and you’ll hear all the action on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ. Coverage begins at 6:35pm with the Backyard Grill Pregame Show. The match begins at 7pm and also streams at kfiz.com.
Rugby Playoffs
The state high school rugby playoffs will be held at Fond du Lac’s Lakeside Park starting tonight. The Division 1 tournament features 8 teams from across the state. Fond du Lac will play Muskego at 5pm on the field right behind the old Pick N Save building. There will also be three other games tonight. The Division 2 playoffs will also be at Lakeside Park on Tuesday. Admission is free.
