Subject of Green Alert last week in Manitowoc County found deceased over weekend

A tragic ending to a story we brought you last week. On Thursday, November 21, 2024, authorities in Manitowoc County issued a green alert for a missing veteran last seen last week Monday.

43-year-old Jason Neumann’s vehicle was found on Tuesday in a shallow part of Lake Michigan near the village of Cleveland with the transmission still in drive.

On Saturday, Neumann was found on the shore of Lake Michigan, two miles north of where his vehicle was found. An investigation into Neumann’s death is being conducted by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office but so far they are saying there is no indication of foul play.
