Taylor To Run For Mayor
State Senator Lena Taylor is suspending her campaign for Wisconsin lieutenant governor. She has her sights set on a different office instead.
Taylor made the decision to join the race for Milwaukee mayor over the weekend. In a statement, Taylor says she loves Milwaukee and has worked her entire life to make it better. She joins eight other candidates who’ve filed paperwork to run in the February primary. Taylor’s decision leaves two Democrats and three Republicans in the race for lieutenant governor.
