Teen Arrested For Dog Death In Green Lake County

A 17-year-old Cambria boy was arrested Monday for shooting a 10-year-old yellow lab. Green Lake County Sheriff’s officials say the dog was a family pet that had been running in a field near a fence line off Yunker Road in the Town of Manchester. It failed to return and had been missing since May 12th.  Its body was located Sunday and identified. It’s believed the boy was turkey hunting in the area. He is being charged with felony mistreatment of animals causing death.
