Two Eden teens injured in crash with farm equipment
Two Eden teens were injured in a crash with a piece of farm equipment Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Just after 6:30 p.m. the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received multiple 911 calls of a pick-up truck that collided with a farm tractor on County Highway W near Sunset Drive, about three miles north of the village of Campbellsport.
Deputies with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office along with Campbellsport Fire Department and Ambulance responded to the scene.
Initial investigation showed a farm tractor pulling a corn chopper southbound on W was struck by the southbound pick-up truck.
The operator of the farm tractor was uninjured. The operator of the pick-up truck, a 16-year-old male, was transported to Froedtert Hospital in West Bend then subsequently transported to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee for serious injuries. The 16-year-old male passenger was transported to SSM Health St Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac for minor injuries.
According to the sheriff’s office, Inadequate lighting on the farm tractor and the corn chopper is believed to be a factor in the crash which remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
County Highway W between Sunset Drive and Meadow Road was closed for about 4 hours while emergency crews worked the scene.
