Two Women Injured In Accident On FDL County Hwy FF

Two Ripon area women were seriously injured early Wednesday morning when their vehicle went off of Fond du Lac County Highway FF in the Town of Ripon. Sheriff’s officials say the northbound vehicle crossed the centerline, entered the ditch, struck several trees and rolled over in a thickly wooded area. The 24-year-old Town of Ripon woman driving the vehicle was taken to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Her passenger, a 23-year-old Ripon woman, was taken to the Ripon Medical Center. Both women were pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated from it. Speed and alcohol are considered factors in the accident. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Town of Ripon Police Department, the City of Ripon Police Department, and the Ripon Ambulance and Fire Department. The accident was reported shortly before 4 a.m.
