Victim of Weekend Motorcycle Crash in FDL Identified

The Fond du Lac Police Department has released more
information about a motorcycle crash that killed a Fond du Lac man over the
weekend. Police say 22-year-old Joseph Borst was driving north on Wisconsin
American Drive near Highway 23 when he lost control of the motorcycle in a
curve and left the opposite side of the road. Borst was ejected from the
motorcycle and died at the scene. A preliminary investigation found that speed
and alcohol were contributing factors to the crash. Police say the victim was
not wearing a helmet at time time of the crash. The crash remains under
investigation.
