Wait Times Down, Says VA
The Veterans Administration says wait times at its Wisconsin clinics are shorter, and veterans should know it is safe for them to come in for medical help.
A reports just released found that some new patient appointments for elective surgeries involved wait times as long as several months last October. Milwaukee V-A Medical Center Chief of Staff Dr. Michael Erdmann says the vast majority of clinics are now meeting the goal of keeping those wait times under 30days. The coronavirus pandemic was blamed earlier. Now, Erdmann says about 70-percent of the employees at Wisconsin V-A clinics have been vaccinated.
