Washington County Fatal Accident

One person was killed and one person seriously injured in a four-vehicle crash in Washington County late Monday morning. Officials say a utility truck was heading south on Highways 41 and 45 near Holy Hill Road when the driver tried to evade traffic that had stopped for construction. The truck went across the median and struck a fully loaded semi truck. The utility truck ended up overturning and the semi in a ditch. A pickup truck and dump truck were also involved in the accident. The accident happened about 11:45 a.m.  Germantown Fire Department photo.
