Weekend starts out dry before more rain Sunday

Finally a day or two to dry out a little bit after a couple inches worth of water fell in the forms of both rain and snow during the last few days, thanks to a large, slow moving weather system.
It looks like we will have dry weather today, Friday, April 5, 2024 and tomorrow before more rain moves in Sunday mid day associated with the next storm system poised to track over the area.
Despite the sunshine today, we will be just a little bit below normal for temperatures with a high in the mid 40s but tomorrow we make it up to the low 50s which IS right around normal for this time of year. Low temperatures will be right around the normal which is the upper 20s to low 30s.
The storm system moving in Sunday is starting out pretty strong out in the Rocky Mountain region, but it looks to drop in intensity pretty quickly as it approaches us, so that will keep overall rainfall at a scattered minimum. A line of rain should be coming through early afternoon on Sunday, then just some hit or miss showers until the system is past us some time on Tuesday.
Temperatures will cool slightly on Sunday as that initial push of rain comes in, but they should rebound into the upper 50s to start next week off Monday and Tuesday with low 60s possible by Wednesday.
