West Bend Man Injured In Motorcycle Crash

Flight for Life flew a 54-year old West Bend man to Froedtert Hospital following a motorcycle crash in the Town of Barton early Friday afternoon. Washington County Sheriff’s officials say the man was northbound on Townline Road when he applied the brakes and was thrown from the cycle. Later he told authorities he was trying to avoid a deer that was crossing the road. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.Speed and alcohol were not factors in the accident. His injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
