WIAA Wrestling Regionals : 2/10/18
**In Division One the top four wrestlers at each weight class advance to sectionals. In Divisions two and three, the top two wrestlers advance to sectionals. The team winner of the regional advances to team sectionals
Division One – At Slinger HS
The Fond du Lac High School wrestling team finished in 8th place at the Slinger Regional with 61 team points. Slinger took first place with 255 points, Neenah second with 225 and Oshkosh West third with 197.5
For Fond du Lac, Isaac Ortegon qualified for sectionals at 132 pounds with a third place finish. Ortegon lost to Reese Thompson of Oshkosh West in the second place match by an 8-3 decision.

Winnebago Lutheran placed second in the regional with 191.5 team points, Laconia finished in third place with 162 team points. Princeton won the team Regional Championship with 203.5 points.

Oakfield placed fifth at the Horicon regional with 102 team points. The Oaks had two wrestlers qualify for sectionals. They were Brock Boelk at 113 pounds, who took second place at that weight class. James Kottke won the Regional Championship at 182 pounds to also qualify for sectionals.
