Wisconsin Humane Society Needing Help With Recent Dog Rescue Operation

The Wisconsin Humane Society is hoping some local animal lovers can step up and help out as they just took in 32 dogs that were rescued from a large-scale, commercial breeder in Missouri.

The group is looking for donations, foster homes and eventually adopters for the dogs that were surrendered to the National Mill Dog Rescue organization.

Humane Society volunteers drove to Missouri to pick up the dogs, which are now at shelters in Green Bay and Milwaukee.

The dogs are for currently being evaluated for any medical or behavioral issues, but after getting spayed or neutered, given their shots and micro-chipped, some could be available as early as this week.

If you’re able to assist the Humane Society with their help in rescuing these dogs, click on any of the links below to get started.

To Adopt: Visit www.wihumane.org/adopt to learn about the adoption process, location hours, and see available animals.

To Foster: Go to www.wihumane.org/foster/apply to see an orientation video and sign up. The Humane Society says foster care helps animals recover faster and keeps kennels at the shelter available for more animals in need.

To Donate: Make a secure, online donation at www.wihumane.org/donate.
