Biden Declared Winner of Wisconsin Democratic Primary

Joe Biden has been declared the winner of Wisconsin’s
Democratic presidential primary. The Associated Press called the race late
Monday afternoon, as results from last Tuesday’s election began to be released.
 

According to WisconsinVote.org, Biden had 62-percent of the
vote with 99 percent of precincts reporting, while Vermont senator Bernie
Sanders had just over 31 percent of the vote. Sanders formally dropped out of
the race for the nomination last Wednesday, one day after Wisconsin’s primary, and
officially endorsed Biden on Monday.

In Fond du Lac County, with 100% of precincts reporting – unofficial numbers show Biden finished with 7,913 votes, while Sanders got 3,040. 

President Donald Trump was unopposed on the state’s ballot
in the Republican primary. With 100 percent of precincts reporting in Fond du
Lac County, unofficial numbers show the President received 13,537 votes.
