Pickup Truck Destroyed In Fire

On December 25, 2013 at 11:42 a.m. the FDLFD responded to a
report of a pickup truck totally involved in fire near the building at the Blue
Line Family Ice Center at 550 Fond du Lac Avenue. When companies arrived they
found a truck near the east side of the building. The truck was unoccupied at
the time. The fire was extinguished and it did not spread to the building. The
vehicle, a 2001 pickup truck with a plow attached, was destroyed.  The
vehicle owner, a local landscaper is contracted by the Blue Line to clear snow
from the walkways around the building. He stated that he was having some engine
troubles prior to the fire and the fire is believed to be accidental. (Photo from Fond du Lac Fire Department)
