Fond du Lac School District Releases Department of Public Instruction Scores For Each School

The Fond du Lac School District has released it’s Department of Public Instruction report card for the 2021/2022 school year and has shown improvement in 11 of the 14 district schools but school officials say there is still room for improvement.
The report cards are scored in 4 categories…
Proficiency in English language arts and mathematics.
Year-to-year progress in English language arts and math achievement.
Outcomes for students with the lowest test scores.
And reliable predictors of how successfully students progress toward completing their K-12 education.
The combination of these four scores give a final number from 0-100 but this score is not a “percent correct” based score, rather just the total values of the four scores combined.
Of the 14 schools in the district, six meet expectations, with seven exceeding expectations. Two schools in the district did not meet expectations and the district as a whole had a final score that meets expectations.
The Department of Public Instruction is required by state statute (Wis. Stat. 115.385) to generate a school report card and district report card for every publicly funded school and district in the state. The intention is to help schools and districts use performance data to celebrate successes and improve their efforts to prepare students for their futures. These public report cards are available online at: http://dpi.wi.gov/accountability/report-cards.
