Forest Management Webinars Planned
The United States Department of Agriculture is hosting a three part webinar titled Dynamic Forests for Birds and Wildlife in the Great Lakes.
The American Bird Conservancy is putting on the program and their objective is to Introduce the dynamic forest concept in the Great Lakes region; discuss the benefits of active forest management for forest health, wildlife, and birds, and share information on cost share funding for private landowner projects in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
The group is aiming the program towards Consulting foresters, forestry workers, natural resource managers, landowners, hunters, and bird watchers.
All three of the webinars will take place on Thursdays. The first will be February 16th, the second on March 16th and the third on March 30th. All three webinars will run from 6 – 7 PM.

1. Thursday February 16th, 6 – 7 p.m. Central Time / 7 – 8 p.m. Eastern Time: Great Lakes Dynamic Forests

Panel discussion: “How to get started with private lands management.”
