11 charges filed as result of pursuit in Fond du Lac County
On November 13, 2025, at approximately 7:50 a.m., the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office became aware of a stolen vehicle traveling northbound on I-41 near County Highway Y. A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper in the area located the vehicle a short time later and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle began to slow but took an unusually long time to come to a complete stop.
A Sheriff’s Deputy arrived on scene moments later. Within seconds, the suspect fled, and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit lasted approximately 3.1 miles and ended when the suspect struck an uninvolved motorist near W. Johnson Street and I-41. Law enforcement personnel surrounded the vehicle and issued verbal commands to the suspect, who was moving erratically inside the vehicle. After several seconds, the suspect exited the vehicle and was taken into custody without further incident.
During a search of the vehicle, law enforcement located approximately 2.5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine scattered throughout the interior. An empty pistol holster was observed on the driver’s seat, and a short time later, a loaded pistol, determined to be stolen out of the state of Missouri, was recovered.
As a result of the crash, one uninvolved motorist sustained minor injuries, was treated at the scene by Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue personnel, and was subsequently released. A second uninvolved motorist was also struck but was not injured. W. Johnson Street remained closed for approximately one hour while the scene was processed.
The suspect, who has a lengthy criminal history in Wisconsin dating back to 2006, was currently on Department of Corrections community supervision for Eluding, Obstructing an Officer, Felony Bail Jumping, and Possession of Methamphetamine. The suspect also had an active DOC warrant and an additional warrant out of Calumet County.
The suspect was booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail on the following charges:
