110 mph Fond du Lac County chase ends with one in custody

A man is in custody this morning, Friday, March 1, 2024, after leading deputies with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office on a pursuit overnight that reached speeds of 110 MPH.
At about 2:12 AM, a deputy attempted to stop a black SUV that was northbound on I-41 near Highway 151 for a traffic infraction. The vehicle accelerated in an attempt to elude the officer.
The driver exited at Hickory Street but came right back on the highway, continuing northbound. Other officers were able to set up tire deflation devices but the suspects vehicle missed them, however a passing semi and a pursuing officer’s tire were flattened in the attempt.
The vehicle exited at County Highway N and crashed soon after, ending up about 25 yards off the road. The suspect exited the vehicle and started to run north from the scene and was captured shortly after.
According to scanner traffic, the suspect had a revoked license from a previous charge of attempting to elude officers.
