112 Animals Found In Milwaukee Home

The Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission and Milwaukee police rescued 112 animals from a Milwaukee home on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

The organization said there was a large variety of animals in the home, unfortunately, not all of them made it.

Group Director Karen Sparapani said “Every time you turned a corner there was something different.”

Animals rescued included a goat, turkey, rabbits, dogs, an alligator, ducks and other birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, and a chinchilla.

Milwaukee Police were serving a search warrant on the house when the discovery of all the animals happened.

While the animals were said to be socialized and in good health, there were some deceased animals found, some of them decomposed down to skeletal remains.

Police arrested a 46-year-old Milwaukee man on charges of animal cruelty. The Milwaukee County District Attorneys office is reviewing the case for possible more charges.
