13 arrested in Fond du Lac County during drunk driving campaign

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office announced the results of their annual Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over holiday campaign, which was part of a nationwide effort to prevent impaired driving during the Christmas and New Years holidays.

Deputies with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office made 13 arrests for Operating While Intoxicated and issued 192 citations during their 418 traffic stops. This years arrests were just slightly lower than last year when 14 arrests were made and 181 citations were issued.

The sheriff’s department says that while this was a concentrated effort during the holidays, they’re committed to combating drunk driving year round.
