18-year-old critically injured in Sheboygan County farming incident

An 18-year-old Sheboygan County man was severely injured in a farming accident Thursday, June 18, 2026.

At about 1:25 p.m., The Sheboygan County Emergency Communication Center received a 911 call regarding the incident located in the W3000 block of Wilson-Lima Road, north of Oostburg.

The caller reported the man had a leg trapped in a corn grinder.

When emergency responders arrived, they found the man inside of a silo, entrapped in the equipment. The patient was ultimately extricated and transported to a Milwaukee area hospital by Flight for Life with life-threatening injuries.

No further information was released in the incident.
