18-year-old Fond du Lac man injured in motorcycle crash
On Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 at 6:54pm, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 911 call of a motorcycle crash near W4437 Golf Course Drive in the Township of Taycheedah. Deputies from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office along with Mount Calvary Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, deputies and first responders located a male 30 yards down in a ravine that was unconscious and breathing. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, Flight for Life was requested to the scene. The operator, an 18-year-old Fond du Lac man, was flown to Theda Care Regional Medical Center-Neenah.
Evidence at the scene showed that the motorcycle was eastbound on Golf Course Drive when the operator failed to maintain control and entered the south ditch. The motorcycle struck a culvert and trees causing it to overturn before coming to rest at the bottom of the ravine. The operator was wearing a helmet.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Mount Calvary Fire and Ambulance. City of Fond du Lac Ambulance was initially paged for an intercept before Flight for Life was contacted. Golf Course Drive was closed between Highway 151 and Red Fox Run for approximately 45 minutes. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
