19-year-old Waupun man facing multiple charges including possession of cocaine

A 19-year-old Waupun man is facing a whole slew of charges including delivery of cocaine after being stopped for a traffic violation Tuesday morning.

Aaron Montes was stopped and arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, and was found to be in possession of cocaine. Prior to the stop the Dodge County Drug Task Force was conducting an ongoing investigation into Montes and took part in several transactions where he sold them cocaine.

The drug task force took the opportunity with Montes in custody to conduct a search warrant on his residence where they found additional drugs, drug paraphernalia, and drug-related currency.

He now faces charges of operating while intoxicated, four counts of delivery of cocaine, two counts of possession of cocaine, possession of THC, maintaining a drug trafficking place and eight counts of felony bail jumping

Montes is also currently awaiting trial for stalking and threatening injury or harm through a computer in Waupaca County.
