2023 Fall Semester in Full Swing at UWO, UWO FDL

UWO Assistant Chancellor of Access Campuses Martin Rudd joins Shawn Kiser on KFIZ Today to discuss the following topics:

• Started Strong at UWO – semester underway, enrollment only marginally down at UWO and only 1 student down at UWO FDL from 2022
• Held Welcome Back Bash and Student Involvement and Resource Fair (part of “getting oriented”)
• Wisconsin Competitive Sports League welcomes one new team and 2 full strength squads in women’s volleyball and men’s basketball for 2023-2024
• UWO FDL is presenting Lizzie – A rock show retelling of the axe-wielding, double-murderess, and Victorian hometown girl, Lizzie Borden (shows start Oct 20). Tickets available soon
• UWO Fond du Lac Foundation is holding its Donor and Scholarship Appreciation Reception on Sept 27
• Last week, UWO held an alumni reception jointly hosted by Grande Cheese and Society Insurance. There are dozens of UWO alumni employed by those two locals companies
