24-year-old felon captured in Fond du Lac after short foot pursuit

A Fond du Lac man is in custody after a brief foot pursuit in the City of Fond du Lac Wednesday night, February 11, 2026.

Shortly after 7 p.m., while responding to a call in the central part of the city, an officer had a man run from them near the area of 6th and Ellis.

A perimeter was set up in the area with other officers, and shortly after, the man was captured.

Investigation into the 24-year-old man showed he was on probation and had a lengthy criminal history including robbery, felon in possession of a fire arm, substantial bodily harm to law enforcement and intent to deliver cocaine.

No other details have been released in the incident.
