3-6 Inches of Snow Could Fall Overnight

A winter weather advisory will be in effect overnight tonight Wednesday, December 14, 2022 for Fond du Lac County as a massive storm system moves across our area.

The storm is responsible for blizzard conditions on the northern plains and tornados down in Texas thru Mississippi.

As colder air moves in, the rain today will change to snow sometime tonight with 3-6 inches of wet snow falling. Winds are also expected to gust around 15-25 mph.

Farther north and west of Fond du Lac from Wautoma to Shawano, the rain will change to snow earlier so they are under a winter storm warning with 6-8 inches inches of snow likely, and even more is forecast to fall in the Wausau area.
