3 homes destroyed by fire in Fox Lake

Multiple fire departments from several counties were called to a fire reported to the Dodge County Dispatch Center early Sunday morning, February 8, 2026.

At 2:41 a.m. crews from Fox Lake and Randolph Fire Departments started to respond to a call of a house on fire at N10570 Howard Drive. Upon arrival, firefighters were faced with a heavily involved fire with extension to two adjacent homes.

Because of the extent and size of the fire, a second alarm MABAS call went out to bring in multiple surrounding departments to assist with the fire.

The three homes involved are considered total losses according to the Fox Lake Fire Department.

In addition to the property damage, a firefighter and civilian sustained minor injuries and have since been released from an area hospital.

The Fox Lake Fire Department spent 10 hours at the scene ensuring all fire was out.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
