3rd Street House Fire

Fond du Lac firefighters responded to a house fire at
352 3rd Street yesterday afternoon. When crews arrived the home was heavily
involved in fire. The blaze was quickly extinguished, but there was extensive
damage to the structure and smoke damage throughout the rest of the house.
Firefighters rescued a dog from the basement of the home. Police and Fire
investigators are investigating the fire. The cause is being determined. The
American Red Cross was called to the scene to provide relief to the displaced
