70 drones brought in to assist search for 3-year-old Elijah Vue

Elijah Vue, the 3-year-old subject of a massive search from Two Rivers, has now been missing for over 5 weeks and law enforcement Thursday leaned heavily on the use of drones to search an area near Shoto. Shoto is a rural area along the West Twin River about 3 miles northwest of Two Rivers.

An organized search involving about 70 drones was conducted Thursday in an area where searchers were last week as well as Wednesday. It’s unknown if anything was located in this recent effort to find Elijah.

He was reported missing February 20th when his mothers boyfriend, who was watching him at the time, said he woke up from a nap after having breakfast with Elijah, and he was gone. An Amber Alert was issued by Two Rivers Police for Elijah and law enforcement and private individuals have continued searching for him ever since.

Both the boyfriend and Elijah’s mother are in police custody, charged with neglecting a child and party to a crime
