9-11 memorials planned in Fond du Lac

Those who want to memorialize the 25th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks will have two opportunities locally Friday, September 11, 2026.

Starting at noon, the Cathedral Church of St. Paul-Fond du Lac at 51 W. Division Street, will have a memorial service open to the public.

Then at 1:30 p.m., a concert in Lakeside Park at the pavilion will feature Music by Army Veteran Ray Ligon from Western Kentucky and Thomas Gabriel, Grandson of country music legend Johnny Cash.

Audio of firefighters and first responders lost in the attacks will be played at 5.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The event goes until 10 p.m.
