9-year-old med-flighted after watercraft crash

Two children were injured Monday, July 13, 2026, in Green Lake County as a result of two personal watercraft crashing on Green Lake.

At 2:22 p.m., the Green Lake County 911 Dispatch Center received multiple calls reporting the crash near the shorline property of 390 S. Lawson Drive, in Green Lake.

Callers reported the crash involved five juveniles. Upon arrival it was determined that a 9-year-old girl was unconscious as a result of the crash. Another 13-year-old juvenile male sustained injuries as well. The 9-year-old was transported by UW Med Flight.

The remaining occupants were uninjured.

According to a sheriff’s office press release, The injured female was removed from the water by contractors working on a boat nearby. They also transported other uninjured occupants to safety.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin DNR.
