Fond du Lac Police Investigating Merrill Street Death

The City of Fond du Lac Police Department continues to investigate a suspicious death incident on east Merrill Avenue between Marquette and Amory Streets.

According to police logs, the incident started as a check welfare call shortly after 8 AM Saturday, November 12, 2022 at a multi-family house 2 blocks east of Main Street.

Police located a deceased 51-year-old female in the residence and detectives from the police department were called to investigate what may have led to the woman’s death.

The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy on the woman to determine the exact cause and manner of death. Her identity is not being released at this time, pending family notification.
