Vintage Snowmobiles Gather At 8th Annual Show and Ride In Fond du Lac County

The Holyland Snowflyers Snowmobile Club is hosting their 8th Annual vintage snowmobile Sno-Bol Show and ride today at Keikhaefer Park.

The club offers this free-to-attend event, as a fundraiser that supports the sport of snowmobiling within the northeast area of Fond du Lac County.

The park provides a unique opportunity for vintage snowmobile enthusiasts to ride on the historic Sno-Bol racetrack that was built by Carl Keikhaefer in 1971 to hold competitive snowmobile races.

Visitors to the event will get to see dozens of vintage snowmobiles laid out in a show atmosphere.

At noon, a parade lap will be held for anyone with a vintage snowmobile to ride the track as part of a group ride, pending enough snow is on the track.

Food and drinks are available as well as a small track that will also be set up for kids to ride a 120 cc snowmobile at no charge starting at 10:00 AM.

Association Of Wisconsin Snowmobile Club Miss Snowflake, Rachyl Burzinski will be attending the show and involved with several of the events, including leading the parade lap.

Awards for show entries will take place at 2:30 PM and the show and ride wrap up at 5:00 PM.
