Audrey Beek

Audrey Beek, 82, of Brandon, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 26, 2023 at the Markesan Resident Home. 

Audrey was born on April 9, 1941 in Adams County, the daughter of Harry and Gertrude Hilsberg Cleland. Audrey moved around to various schools and later graduated from Green Lake High School. After graduating she married the love of her life Earl Beek on August 1, 1959. She was employed as a clerical worker in the trucking industry for 45 years. Audrey was a committed lifetime member at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon where she was very involved, served on multiple committees, and taught Sunday School. She loved reading, coloring, and was famous for her cooking and baking. Audrey always put her family first and they were the center on how she lived her life. 

Audrey is survived by her children: Jody Connor (Significant other, Jeffrey Astrach) of Berlin and Randal (Pam) Beek of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren: Jason (Robyn) Fryman, Sarah (Alex) Timm, Albray (Mel) Hobson, Trista (Nikki) Recore, and Zachery Beek; great-grandchildren: Holly, Dominique, Jeremy, Gavin, Kailynn, Mason, Wesley, McKilni, Brooklyn, Gunner, Eli, and Copper; brother: Ronald Briese of Fairwater; and many other relatives and friends.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; great-grandchildren: Jordan and Kyrea; siblings: Leonard, James, Irvin, Bud, Ken, Lorraine, and Janet; and other relatives.

Funeral services for Audrey Beek will be held Monday, May 1, 2023 at 12 noon at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon with Pastor Bob Rosenberg and Carol Christianson officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Sunday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 2-4 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
