***Submitted Press Release***
The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac (CMFDL) invites you to the last family event of the summer, this Friday August 11th from 4-7pm (special daytime hours 9:00-2:00).
The theme for this event is “Campout at the Museum”. In addition to CMFDL’s 50+ specially designed play areas, visitors will enjoy extra fun camping themed activities and even s’more snacks, hot dogs and hamburgers (while supplies last).
“In our busy and often heavily scheduled lives, Family Events at the Children’s Museum provide a great opportunity for children and their grown-ups to enjoy special time together, in a fun, simple and affordable way,” commented volunteer, Dr Mary Schultz.
Admission to this event is $8 per person (reduced pricing for seniors, children under 1 and families with demonstrated financial need). Members receive free admission to the Campout Event.
As a special access offering on Friday, August 11th, all new and renewing members will receive $10 off their memberships, which provides free admission to children’s museums in Fond du Lac and Sheboygan, thanks to the Efroymson Family Fund.
“In addition to our Family Events, there are so many wonderful things happening at CMFDL this summer.
We have new play areas, engaging programs and an exceptional staff and volunteer team. With over 800 member families and over 3,000 members, we have exceeded our pre-pandemic counts. In addition, our total attendance is 15% higher than our best historical year of 2019,” added Andrea Welsch, CMFDL’s Chief Executive Officer.
The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac is located at 75 West Scott Street in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
