Flood Watch In Effect For Area Monday

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for southeast Wisconsin today, Monday, August 14, 2023 including Fond du Lac County.

A slow moving low pressure system will pass by just to our south bringing a prolonged area of rain.

Different forecast models have different solutions to where most of the rain will fall, ranging from 1 inch, up to 4 inches for the Fond du Lac area. Officially the National Weather Service has our area slated to get 1 – 2 1/2 inches with areas just to the south looking to get 3-5 inches.

Low lying areas and areas with poor drainage may see problems with flooding as this storm system passes.
