Therapy/Crisis Worker K9 to join Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is getting a new K9, but not one that will be sniffing out drugs on traffic stops.

K9 Josie will start her stint with the department at a ceremonial swearing in Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Josie will be paired with the sheriff office’s in-house crisis social worker, Sheila Seaborg and will be going on calls with her as part of the departments crisis social worker partnership program.

The ceremony takes place at 2 PM in the sheriff’s office conference room located at 180 S. Macy St. in Fond du Lac.
