Garnett June Chaney

Garnett June Chaney, 80, passed away on December 30, 2023, in Evanston, Illinois.

She was born on July 22, 1943, in LeMasa, California, to her parents, John A. and Truo Garnett (Brawner) Chaney.

Trained as a licensed practical nurse, Garnett provided compassionate elder care in multiple settings. Most of all, Garnett June was a devoted Grandmother to 11 Grandchildren: Amelia, Margaret, Rachel, John, Kevin, Timothy, Nicholas, Teresa, Brady, Benjamin, and Grace. Her affection, humor, and hearty laugh made every family gathering extra special.

Garnett is survived by her children, Jolene Marie Laudolff-Birmingham and Robert Lee Laudolff.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Doyle Chaney and Harold Dwight Chaney.

Service – Garnett’s family invite relatives and friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:15PM at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E Division St, Fond du Lac, WI. A short funeral service will follow at 3:30 PM. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery in Joshua, Texas.
