Fond du Lac School District Open Enrollment Application Period Begins February 5
The Fond du Lac School District (FDL-SD) provides a variety of educational options with a small-town charm. The district is dedicated to improving outcomes for students. The district works closely with families, staff and the community to prepare students for their unique life paths. Interested in joining a school district with a talented staff and a strong commitment to continuous improvement? Your chance to become a member of the Cardinal Family is right here!
Open enrollment, available to families beyond FDL-SD boundaries, starts with four-year-old kindergarten, establishing a solid educational and social/emotional foundation. Our nine elementary schools engage students in reading and practical applications, emphasizing best practices across content areas. Middle school programs allow deep curriculum exploration, and an exploratory program introduces pathways for high school and beyond. Fond du Lac High School offers 40+ college credit courses and 50+ career technical education courses, along with nearly 90 co-curricular options like music, athletics and theater. Recent additions include the Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ACE) Academy for in-demand jobs, and a Project Lead the Way curriculum for biomedical sciences, engineering and computer science enthusiasts.
The district blends tradition and innovation, prioritizing student success and community well-being. With rich traditions, dedicated staff and a focus on continuous improvement, we offer modern facilities, cutting-edge resources, and mental health programs. Diverse programs cater to individual passions, and community integration goes beyond school walls. Fond du Lac is a community hub, not just a school, inviting everyone to join in creating a future where education is a life-changing experience. Our STEM Academy charter schools emphasize personalized learning and project-based education. We welcome you and your family to join the Cardinal Family throughout our district and community–a supportive We Are Fondy community.
For families outside the Fond du Lac School District wishing to enroll at one of our schools for the 2024-25 school year, the out-of-district public school open enrollment period begins on February 5 and continues through April 30, 2024.
