Mary Jane Esser

Mary Jane Esser (née Ryan), born in Sauk City, Wisconsin, on February 18, 1926, passed away peacefully Wednesday night. She was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph W. and Mildred Ryan and was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Arthur Esser, her brother, Joseph Ryan Jr., and her daughter, Susan Esser Dixon.

A devout Catholic, Mary Jane lived her faith every day. She loved playing cards with friends and found great joy on the golf course, where she spent many happy days. Mary Jane is survived by her brother Dale, her daughter, Jean Esser, as well as her four grandchildren: Joseph Amstadt, Robert (Valerie) Amstadt, Ryan (Kah) Dixon, and Eva Dixon, and three great-grandchildren: Hailey, Emma, and Claire. Her witty humor and devotion to her family will be dearly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 20th, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. before the service. May she rest in eternal peace.
