Fond du Lac keeps its playoff hopes alive with their most complete game of the season against Hortonville. The scoring began with a 6-yard touchdown run by Mason Henschel, who rushed for over 100 yards in the first half. The Cardinals took a 7-0 lead into halftime.
In the second half, sophomore quarterback DeAndrea Williamson Jr. added a 5-yard touchdown run and threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Connor Johnson, extending the lead to 21-0. The standout performance came from Fond du Lac’s defense, which forced multiple turnovers and effectively shut down the Polar Bears’ offense.
Next up, Fond du Lac will host Neenah, who pulled off an upset against Kimberly on Friday night.
