Rhonda Lee Ertel (nee Baumhardt)

Rhonda Lee Ertel (nee Baumhardt), 63, of Eden, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024 in her home surrounded by friends and family.  She was born April 15, 1961, the daughter of late Norbert and Joyce Baumhardt (nee Bohlman).  On July 7, 1979, She married David Ertel.  She enjoyed feeding the hummingbirds, listening to music, and watching the Packers.  Most of all Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, and her cat Ally.  Her home was always the meeting place for visits and celebrations.  She was a quick-witted woman whose presence was always felt.  She was employed at Eden Corner Express for many years until her retirement.  

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband David Ertel, her daughter Kristina (Matt) Chern, her niece Angela (Ron) Thoma, brother in laws Steve (Anji), Geno, Tom, Ernie, and Mark (Donna), as well as other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by her sisters; Paula Baumhardt and Donna (Tony) Thoma.  

A private family service will be held at a later date.
