Steven G. Martin

Steven G. Martin, 66, of the Town of Empire passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 at his home after a four month battle with cancer. He was born in Fond du Lac on August 22, 1958, the son of the late Gerald and Audrey (nee Rauch) Martin. On April 24, 1993, Steve was united in marriage to Karen A. Dyken in Eden.

Steve was a 1976 graduate of Campbellsport High School and received an Associate Degree from MPTC. Steve worked in sales for AS&T in St. Kilian. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, was a grill master, and was the popcorn monster with the grandchildren. Steve’s favorite time was when he could spend time with grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all his family.

Survivors include his wife Karen, son Jeremy (Jodie) Dyken, daughters Jessica (Duane) Hart and Jennifer (Dan) Metz, grandchildren Alexander, Taylor, Jordan (Kanae), Kayla (Christopher), and Maverick, great grandchildren Evelyn, Amelia, and Ren, sisters Deb Martin, Sharyl (Clint) Odekirk, and Patti (Tom) Flasch, brother Timothy (Kay) Martin, special friend Dale Rose, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents Steve was preceded in death by his aunts Mae and Fern Martin, father-in-law Paul Dyken, mother-in-law Beverly Strzelecki, and brother-in-law Lloyd Worden.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22nd from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be establishing a memorial in Steve’s name.
