Snow still expected to hamper Thursday morning commute

A winter weather advisory remains in effect for eastern Wisconsin starting at 6 AM Thursday, November 21, 2024, and going through noon Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, they are expecting the heavier snow to start in Fond du Lac County between 4 and 7 AM with total accumulations varying with placement of the center of the low pressure coming through. Confidence is strong that at least 2 inches will fall in the area, but some areas farther east could see 4-5 inches.

This snow will impact morning commutes so give yourself extra time to get to your destination and drive slower on wet and snow covered roads.
