Donna Baldwin, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, in Wauwatosa, WI.

Donna was born to Claude and Maude (Frost) Towne in Lamartine where she grew up. She graduated from Brandon High School. Donna worked as a telephone switchboard operator and later at Giddings and Lewis in Fond du Lac. There she met the man who became her husband, Fred Baldwin.

On May 17, 1953, she married Fred Baldwin, in Fond du Lac. Fred and Donna lived in Fond du Lac most of their lives. Their union lasted 72 years. She lived only 13 days after Fred’s passing. Donna was a woman of great faith. She liked tap dancing when she was young. She loved to laugh and hear jokes. Her main focus in her life was her children, Mark, Brian, Paula and grandchildren. She attended sporting events, plays, concerts, and everything that involved her family. She was always there to show her support of their endeavors and accomplishments.

She and Fred enjoyed live music and concerts. They loved eating out, especially at Gilles and Culver’s where she always had a hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge. Her children and grandchildren will forever remember her for her ability to play “make believe” and improvise to create her own fun and games.
