Joseph F. Roberts

Joseph F. Roberts, 88, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, May 9, 2025 at Frontida Adelaide Place. He was born August 4, 1936 in Friendship, the son of Richard and Mary Brockway Roberts. On October 18, 1957 he married Shirley J. LeQue at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac.

Joe worked as a journeyman machine repairer at G&L, Wells Manufacturing, Galloway West, and retired from Mercury Marine in 2000. Joe could fix anything that needed fixing. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, country music, riding motorcycle, spending time at their cottage in Crivitz, and most of all loved spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; three children, Richard Roberts, Judy (Jim) Mugan, and Dan (Alisa) Roberts; grandchildren, Nathan Roberts, Brian Roberts, Jillian (Sean) Lamb, Bridget (Corey) Hale, Adam (Dovie) Roberts, Hannah (Ben Brotz) Roberts, and Josh (Lila Kopsi) Roberts; great grandchildren, Isabel, Owen, Carmen, Calvin, Michelle, and Mackenzie; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Marceline Roberts, Jim (Ruby) Roberts, and Mary Schmidt.

The visitation will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church. The Mass of Chrisitan Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at church. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Preceptor Home Health and Hospice, Home Helpers, and Adelaide Assisted Living for all their support and care for our father, mother, and our family.
