Fond du Lac Cardinals Softball Shines with All-State and All-District Honors

The Fond du Lac Cardinals Softball team is celebrating a season of hard work, determination, and standout performances, as several of its athletes have earned prestigious postseason honor after a trip to sectionals.
Leading the accolades is senior Susan Vokes, who capped off her high school career with a remarkable dual recognition. Vokes was named Honorable Mention All-State, a testament to her consistent excellence on the field. In addition, she earned a spot on the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association (WFSCA) First Team All-District, highlighting her as one of the top players in the region.
Joining Vokes in the spotlight is sophomore Lillian Birschbach, who made an impressive impact this season and was also named to the WFSCA First Team All-District. Her performance at the plate and in the field has marked her as a rising star in the program and a key player to watch in the coming years.
Junior Mallory Thorp also received well-deserved recognition, earning Honorable Mention All-District honors. Thorp’s contributions throughout the season were vital to the Cardinals’ success, showcasing her leadership and skill as an upperclassman.
